Plan to be Healthy and Safe

Write a safety Plan

  • Write 3 THINGS you like to do that help you take your mind off of your problems.

    Things that are physically and mentally healthy (or what can help improve your current mood: sometimes it’s OK to eat some ice cream to temporarily calm down enough so you can think critically.)

  • Write 2 FRIENDS that you feel safe with and offer a healthy distraction to you.

  • Write 2 PLACES that help you feel safe and offer a healthy distraction to you.

  • Write 3 HEALTHY CARING ADULTS who you can trust and turn to for help.

    Like your aunt/uncle, a friend’s parent, your teacher, your coach

  • Write Down some professional services that are available to contact during crisis
